Religious and Me

Even though I am not a religious person, I do believe that we need it. Religion gives us a thin edge line that said what we cannot do and out there every religion ask their follower to do good.

To think of it, being in Islam how should we carry out our application of Islam? Yes, Islam is a way of life, in anything that we do, there will always be if not more but a small part of Islam in it. I like to view life in contact of is religion carry out in sprint races orMe marathons.

From what I knew, in Islam, it did not matter where you start but the matter is where you finish. Do your good outweighs your bad when your life ends? How much good you should do, simply does it matter if you race at the school level of the Olympics. Does it matter if your act of kindness cost RM1 or RM1000? For sprinters, maybe you start a religious school, Tahfiz you memorise the Quran. By the knowledge you have, it should keep you at least on the right lane until the end. What if after that you stop practising or worse get involved with something shirik, it means you had to stop sprinting or even walking the race. Then, if you are a start and stop sprinter, maybe this month you practise a lot of Islam, then you stop for a while. I guess it is back to the rule, do your good outweigh your bad and do you die in Islam?

Marathoners, just continue their practice of Islam, the manipulative factor is their pace. Do they just walk or run in their practice? I see myself as a walking or maybe a crawling marathoner. I don't feel myself being a religious guy, having a beard, tabligh and all that.

Maybe I continue practice and maybe someday it improves.
