Father of Two Boys

Our ideal plan was to have a boy and then a baby girl. Aaron shall be the big brother, protecting his siblings, leading them, and setting up an example. Then, to have a girl to accompany Yasmen cooking, baking, and being the sweetheart of the family. Allah has another plan for us, Allah sent Rauf.

All things happen for a reason, Allah must plan something better for us in the future that why we need two boys to lead. Aaron and Rauf to carry something big responsibility in the future. They need to do it together leading the way. Hope it is a good thing for our family. Aaron will have his brother to play ball and lego together. The two of them will be better to protect their little sister later. Maybe I will not live long, so Yasmen will need our two boys to protect her.

I hope Aaron and Rauf will grow up together to be the best of bros, doing things together and setting up the best example.

Father of Two

Yasmen bringing out our No 2 is a whole new level compare to Aaron. Aaron and me waiting outside in the hospital corridor. Yasmen inside the labor room for 7 hours until I am allowed to come inside. Then the call for operation. Only after Subuh Adzan Rauf came out. After that Jaundice, 5 days later only Rauf come home.

Now time for the four of us to brace ourselves to ride the wave for the month ahead. Last time when people asked me how it feels to be a father. I say ask me 3 months later. Now a father of two, ask me again when Rauf is 6 months old.
